What’s included:
All the hardware items you need to get going. You get the machine parts kit, a Makita RT0701C router, router mount, an end mill, and basic clamps.

The assembled version only ships to the 48 contiguous United States. The kit version ships worldwide.

Warranty

Orders placed after 11/8/2021 have a 180-day parts warranty from the date of shipment. Previous to this there was a 90-day warranty on this product from the time of shipment. Description

The Carve King 2 is a leap forward in affordable CNC. It builds on the years of customer feedback on our very successful original Carve King. The Carve King 2 has an upgraded frame design that increases rigidity, improved electronics allowing for 20% faster traverse speeds, and was re-designed to allow for easier assembly. The control board is also now compatible with our precision touch plate.

This bundle includes the Carve King 2 kit, Makita 1.25HP RT0701C router, our solid aluminum router mount, one 1/4″ carbide end mill, and basic clamps. This is all the hardware you need to get going.

Choose between a kit that you assemble, or let our machine technicians assemble it for you. Just plug in the connections.

The software you need is free. Autodesk offers all hobbyists a free license (not a trial) for design software called Fusion 360. Note that Fusion no longer outputs rapid traverses for those on a free personal license, but you can easily overcome this with our G Code Rapidizer. You can control the machine with the MillRight CNC version of Universal G Code Sender, which is free on our resources page. We also sell Vectric software.
