The Power Route Plus builds on the success of the original Power Route by incorporating years of customer feedback into an already robust design. The Power Route Plus features oversized 20mm bearings on every axis, optional 4th axes, dual ball screw driven Y axis with over 1000 inch/oz of torque, a larger mount to hold the 2.25 horsepower router, and precision milled bearing plates. Ball screw support bearing arrangements have been made more substantial and easier to align, giving the system even more precision. Assembly is faster because the total parts count has been reduced and numerous holes are tapped to minimize hardware count and speed up the assembly process.
Choose the Power Route Plus as a Kit or an Assembled Unit. The $999 assembly charge covers assembly and the additional shipping that we incur when sending a crated machine via truck freight versus flat packing the machine and sending through the ground network in multiple boxes. The standard base shipping fee is still collected at shipping when selecting the assembled machine.
This is a bundle that comes with all the hardware you need to get started. It includes the Power Route Plus machine kit (assembly required), DeWalt DWP618 2.25 horsepower router, custom aluminum router mount, basic clamps, and one 1/4″ carbide end mill. The software you need is free. Autodesk offers all hobbyists a free license for design software called Fusion 360. We also sell Vectric software for those wanting an easier yet feature rich design and toolpathing experience. Universal G Code Sender is a free program that is used to control the machine.
